DANCE CLASSES

Spring 2026
 

Little Dancers

 (ages 3-5) This is an intro class that will expose little dancers to tap, ballet, jazz, and hip hop. Classes often include a warmup across the floor and center combinations.

Dress code:

Girls- leotard (any color), leggings or tights, black tap shoes, black jazz shoes, hair in a ponytail or bun.

Boys- black tap shoes, black ballet shoes, shorts, t-shirt

Thursdays 5:25-6:15pm

Instructors: Addy Mumma and Eryanna Gorman

Jr. Ballet

(ages 6-10)  A beginning ballet class that introduces the elements of ballet both on the floor and at the barre building terminology and technique.

Dress code:

Girls- pink ballet shoes, pink tights, leotard (any color), skirt is optional, hair in bun

Boys- black ballet shoes, shorts, tshirt

 

Wednesdays 4:30-5:20pm

Jr. Hip Hop

(ages 6-10) This class focuses on developing rhythm and coordination to the beat of hip hop/pop music.   Classes often include a warmup across the floor and center combinations.

Dress: Comfortable clothing, jazz shoes or socks

Thursdays 4:30-5:20pm

Instructor: Eryanna Gorman

Jr. Jazz/ Lyrical

 (ages 6-10) Classes often consist of a warmup, across the floor combinations, and center work such as learning a choreographed dance.  Lyrical is a soft style that is often performed to music with lyrics so that the dancers can use expression and movement to tell a story.  

Dress: Comfortable clothing and black jazz shoes

Saturdays 1:00-1:50pm

Instructor: Chloe Welsh

Jr. Tap

(ages 6-10) Learn the fundamentals of tap! Classes will consist of a warmup, across the floor combinations, and center work such as learning a choreographed dance. This class is for beginning to intermediate students.

Dress code: Comfortable clothing and black tap shoes

Wednesdays 5:25-6:15pm

Homeschool - Wednesdays 9:30-10:20

Teen Dance Combo

 (ages 6-10) Join us for a combination dance class during homeschool hours where students will learn an overview of ballet, tap, and jazz skills.  This class may vary depending on the interests and skills of students.

Dress: Comfortable clothing, black jazz shoes, black tap shoes

Homeschool - Wednesdays 10:30-11:20

Instructor: Eryanna Gorman

Dress: Comfortable clothing, tan character shoes for girls and black jazz shoes for boys.

Teen/Adult Strength and Stretch

Build strength and flexibility with a dance based instructor.  This classis for homeschool teens and adults to learn lifelong, gentle conditioning techniques.

Homeschool/daytime

Tuesdays: 2:00pm-2:50pm

Music Theatre Dance

(some experiencepreferred)

Students will dance to a variety of music theatre songs and learn dance steps often used in music theatre while improving their performance skills by using expression and movement to tell a story. MT Dance includes a warm up, across the floor, and center combinations. Girls need tan character shoes and boys need black jazz shoes for this class.

Dress: Comfortable clothing, tan character shoes for girls and black jazz shoes for boys.

Tuesdays 7:35-8:25pm

Intermediate Hip Hop

(pre-requisite needed)

Increase your Hip Hop skills! This class requires instructor approval with a pre-requisite of Jr. Hip Hop or other comparable Hip Hop course.  

Dress "Comfortable clothing, Jazz Shoes, or Hip Hip Sneakers (not worn outside)

Saturdays 10:25-11:15am

Intermediate Tap

(pre-requisite needed)

Entry upon instructor recommendation, typically ages 10+ with at least 2 years of Tap experience.

Dress: Comfortable clothing, black tap shoes

Wednesdays 6:20-7:10pm

Intermediate Jazz/Lyrical

(pre-requisite needed)

Entry upon instructor recommendation, typically ages 10+ with at least 2 years of Jazz/Lyrical experience.

Dress: Comfortable clothing and tan or black jazz shoes (check with teacher for color if near recital)

Wednesdays 7:15-8:05pm

Instructor: Chloe Welsh

Intermediate Ballet

(pre-requisite needed)

Entry upon instructor recommendation, typically ages 10+ with at least 2 years of Ballet experience.

Dress:

Fridays 5:30-6:55pm

Advanced Tap

(pre-requisite needed)

Entry upon instructor recommendation after mastering the skills of Intermediate Tap.

Dress: Comfortable clothing, black tap shoes

Mondays 8:30-9:20pm

Instructor: Chloe Welsh

Pre-Pointe

(pre-requisite needed)

Must be concurrently enrolled in Intermediate Ballet.  This class builds the strength and skill required to eventually dance en pointe.

Same dress code as Intermediate Ballet

Fridays 7:00-7:30pm

Advanced Jazz/ Lyrical

(pre-requisite needed)

Entry upon instructor recommendation upon mastering the skills of Intermediate Jazz.

Beginning Pointe

(pre-requisite needed)

For advanced ballerinas.  

Girls- pointe shoes, pink tights, leotard (any color), skirt is optional, hair in bun

Boys- black ballet shoes, shorts, tshirt

Fridays 7:35-8:05pm

Adult Tap

(ages 16+) This is a beginning/intermediate tap class for adults.  Make rhythm with your feet!  Tap is one of the most valued dances in Musical Theatre. Classes will often include a warmup, across the floor combinations, and center work such as learning a choreographed dance.

Dress: Comfortable clothing, black tap shoes

Tuesdays 8:30-9:20pm
