Enrollment Fees and Show Investment:

Tuition is due upon enrollment (deadline the day before auditions):  Friday, August 14th, 2026 at 12pm  

• $225  per student (musical only)

• Discounts:

  • Multi-Class: $175 per student who is also enrolled in a DCT class in the same semester: Use code FALLSTUDENT

  • Siblings:

    • 20% off second sibling  

    • 40% off each sibling after that

      • *Our system will automatically calculate/combine these discounts upon enrollment.​​​​​

 

Fee includes show shirt and cast party as well as many other things we need to make a production come together such as  production rights and licensing, scripts and music, theatre rental, directors and choreographer, technical staff, sound/tech equipment, props and scenery, programs, and more production fees.​  

​Ticket prices will be $10 online (+ $`1.28 online fee) or $12 at the door for ages 2+​​​​

Families are responsible for costuming their student in collaboration with DCT staff.

Auditions:

Saturday, August 15th  (by appointment) + Callbacks if needed

This is an enrollment show, so everyone gets a part!  Must be enrolled and paid prior to auditioning.  Audition materials will be sent to those who have enrolled and paid prior to auditions.

• Please be prepared to audition for us sometime between 9am and 4pm 

  • We will determine the amount of audition sessions available based on enrollment numbers.​

• Callbacks - 5pm Saturday if needed 

  • We typically don't need callbacks as we audition the kids thoroughly while they're with us, but we want to reserve this time just in case it's needed.​

Time Commitment:​​​

You choose:

• Monday cast CAST 1 - rehearsals 5:30-7:30pm beginning 8/17​​

  • No rehearsal Labor Day!  We will combine and have rehearsal Tuesday 9/8 as a makeup (we understand absences on this day, but please do your best to be there!)​​

  • Will Perform Thursday 11/19 and Saturday 11/21 at 6:30pm​

• Tuesday cast CAST 2 -  rehearsals 5:30-7:30pm beginning 8/18

  • Will Perform Friday 11/20 at 6:30pm and Saturday 11/21 at 2:00pm​

• or, let the directors choose to possibly be considered for more roles.

  • Example: The top two candidates for the role of "Horton" can only rehearse on Monday.  Therefore, the 1st choice candidate receives the role in the Monday cast, but the directors choose the 3rd choice for the Tuesday cast because of their flexibility.​​

• + Tech Week Rehearsals (no absences will be excused during these dates)

Absence Policy

Being in a show is very much a team effort.  We rely on each other to be at every rehearsal for the success, safety and fairness of everyone involved.

• We will send an audition form in which you will commit to each rehearsal listed above.

  • All non-illness or emergency absences must be disclosed on this form prior to auditions.

    • Please think of all team sports, school events, concerts, etc

      • Excused: Absences that are listed on this form.  Max = 3​

      • Unexcused: Absences NOT listed on this form prior to auditions and all tech week absences

        • DCT Staff reserve the right re-cast your role after 2 UN-EXCUSED absences.​

• Please do not enroll without prior approval if you plan to miss more than 3 rehearsals.    We are understanding of illnesses and emergencies.
