Private lessons are available upon request pending teacher availability and scheduling.  Please inquire if interested.

 

Piano and Voice lessons are available during Homeschool hours only.  They are taught by DCT Owner Patty Kirkpatrick.  Patty is a Kansas Licensed Music Teacher with full Graduate level Kodaly Certification.  It’s highly recommended that students attend weekly lessons in order to progress at their full potential.

 

Dance lessons are available pending instructor availability.  These lessons are mostly on weekends with the possibility for homeschool hours.  Please inquire to be matched with a dance instructor.

 

Bi-Weekly lessons are held every-other week.  They have a slight upcharge due to the challenge of filling the studio and the teacher’s schedule in the “off” week, as well as more complicated billing issues.

 

Semi-private lessons are for 2 people studying dance or voice only. They are not available for piano lessons.

• +$10 per additional person up to 4 total.

 

Private Lesson Billing:

• Private lesson fees are posted to your account weekly.  

• Any unpaid private lessons are automatically charged to the card on file on the 1st of the next month.  

• Families must give 2-weeks notice to end private lessons and will be charged for two more weeks after notification is given, whether or not they attend.

 

Makeup Lessons

• Families are billed for lessons weekly or bi-weekly, whether or not they attend, as lesson payment ensures that the space is held in the schedule.  Re-scheduled lessons are only pending instructor and studio availability.

• One missed lesson may be made up during the normal time slot in the last week of the session:

  • December 15-21, 2025 (no regular lessons, makeup week)

  • May 18-24, 2025 (no regular lessons, makeup week)

• Teachers will attempt to reschedule or find a substitute knowledgeable in their field if they must miss a lesson.
